DAER’s Annual Summer School Completed

The Department of Aerospace Science and Engineering (DAER) Summer School for high school prospective students took place on July 2 to 6, 2018. The 120 participants were involved in dedicated lectures on fundamentals of aeronautics, space missions, rotorcraft, and unmanned aircraft. They also visited all the main DAER experimental labs: aerodynamics, space, structural testing, materials technology, rocket propulsion, crash, drones.

In the final day, aerospace engineering students and their activities were brought into play through the presentation of the Skyward Experimental Rocketry association, the Aircraft Design award-winning projects, and a dedicated Q&A session.

Looking forward to welcoming motivated students in two years from now!
