The field of research of my interest concerns with Artificial Intelligence applied to space systems. Even more challenging space missions are going to be undertaken and the need of providing the remote system (a satellite, a spacecraft or an exploring rover) with an autonomous control is essential for cost saving, responsiveness and scientific return increasing. Artificial Intelligence is a field of investigation providing methodologies that translate human reasoning capability to the machine level. This feature can be usefully exploited to provide the remote space system with an autonomous management capability. The following points encompass the specific research arguments of interest.
