Giuseppe Quaranta, docente di aeroservoelasticità, interverrà alla fiera A&T alla tavola rotonda sul tema "ADVANCED AIR MOBILITY: una sfida per il futuro".

Giuseppe Quaranta (Bari, Italy 27.08.1972) received a M.S. degree in aerospace engineering in 2000, and a Ph.D in aerospace engineering in 2004 both at Politecnico di Milano. He is currently Full professor of Aeroservoelasticity at the Department of Aerospace Science and Technology (DAER), of Politecnico di Milano. He published several papers on international journals with peer review process in the field of muldisciplinary modelling for aircraft and rotorcraft design and verification. The research topics recently addressed are: flight simulation of rotorcraft for certification and design; rotorcraft aeromechanics, vibrations and noise reduction; Rotorcraft Pilot Couplings; morphing structures; innovative Fluid Structure Interaction approaches. He has been involved as investigator in several EU funded researches on rotorcraft and tiltrotor dynamics. Currently he is the coordinator of the first European network of Universities NITROS that offers a Double Doctorate focused on the improvement of rotorcraft safety, and the coordinator of a CleanSky 2 project devoted to the exploitation of simulation to improve the certification process for rotorcraft.
