6S CUBESAT TEAM SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETES FINAL DESIGN REVIEW AT ESA
The 6S CubeSat team from the PoliSpace student association has reached an important milestone in the "Fly Your Satellite! Design Booster" program, organized by ESA.
For four days, the team participated in the Final Design Review at ESTEC in the Netherlands, where they discussed their design and addressed all the Review Item Discrepancies (RIDs) raised by ESA experts.
This collaborative effort provided invaluable guidance for the team, offering crucial insights for needed final refinements before freezing the design.
The review process has reinforced the team's understanding of industry design review processes and given them a clear direction toward completion.
Throughout the 18-month program, the 6S team has benefited from routine meetings with ESA specialists and extensive training courses and webinars.
The 6S CubeSat team will officially close their participation to the FYS! Design Booster Program through the completion of the final presentation on the 7th of June 2024.
With the support provided by ESA and the consistent backing of PoliMi, the team is well-prepared for the challenges ahead and enthusiastic to reach the next milestones.
