The TWEET-IE (Twin Wind tunnels for Energy & the EnvironmenT) EU Project (Grant Agreement No. 101079125, HORIZON-WIDERA-2021-ACCESS-03-01) is coming to an end.

DAER Contributions
The Department of Aerospace Science and Technology of Politecnico di Milano, among other contributions, has supported two wind tunnel test campaigns on highly relevant topics in the field of wind energy:
- The study and flow control of very thick airfoil profiles (used in the root region of wind turbine blades)
- The study of wind turbine wakes in the framework of wind farm control
These are two major contributions, which will soon be published — stay tuned!
