Roberto Gamma received his BSc in Aerospace Engineering in 2022 and his MSc in Space Engineering in 2024 from Politecnico di Milano, with a thesis exploring an application of autonomous navigation in cislunar space.

After graduating, he joined the SPIRE Team as a research fellow, contributing to Space Situational Awareness (SSA) and Space Surveillance and Tracking (SST) research, with a focus on cataloguing and monitoring objects in the cislunar environment. Currently, he is a PhD candidate under the supervision of Professor Marco Felice Montaruli.

His research focuses on resident space objects characterization and cataloguing for fragmentation events in Earth orbit, contributing to the development of advanced methodologies aimed at enhancing space safety.
