AM3aC2A PROJECT AWARDED AT ECI UHTC VI CONFERENCE

The presentation of the last developments of the AM3aC2A project, result of the collaboration from the SIAMS Lab of the Department of Aerospace Science and Technology of the Politecnico di Milano and CNR-ISSMC, was awarded with the Chairs’ Choice Best Oral Presentation.

This work, authored by A.M. Caporale and A. Airoldi, deals with the non-linear and damage modelling of ZrB2-based ultrahigh temperature ceramic matrix composites, a key material for the development of the next generation of supersonic vehicles.
