Aceti Pietro

Dr. Pietro Aceti is a researcher and teaching collaborator at the Department of Aerospace Science and Technology, Politecnico di Milano. He graduated with a PhD cum laude in Aerospace Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, 2024. He was awarded recognition for his innovative contributions, including a patent in structural health monitoring systems. He recently has participated in projects focused on fiber-optic sensors for aerospace applications and advanced hygrothermal characterization of composite materials. He has published over 15 papers in various peer-reviewed journals and serves as a reviewer for leading international scientific publications. His main field of studies are aerospace materials and technologies, smart materials, environmental effects on composites, energy harvesting system and advanced sensing systems.
