During the past months, the Switch2Product programme organized by PoliHub - Innovation Park & Startup Accelerator and Deloitte has been held, with the objective of helping ideas become successful startups.

We are proud to share that three teams from the Department were among the 25 finalists of the initiative out of the original 260+ applicants.

Eleonora Andreis, Imane Marouf, Paolo Panicucci, Vittorio Franzese, and Francesco Topputo won one of Politecnico di Milano's grants worth 30k€ with their project ATLAS, which has the aim of enabling autonomous spacecraft navigation.

Alessandro Morselli and Francesco Topputo participated as well together with the Nautilus - Navigation in Space's team. Their idea is to revolutionize the way space missions are operated from ground.

NAUTILUS project

SunCubes, proposed by a team of PoliMi students and whose scientific advisors include Pierluigi Di Lizia and Dario Polli, has the purpose to build a revolutionary satellite recharging system and was awarded with a grant of 30k€ from MOVYON for the development of laser technology for Earth applications.

In the next months, all teams will be involved in a startup accelerator programme.
