DAER SUMMER PARTY 2024 - ANNUAL DAER REUNION

July 18, 2024, summer has definitely arrived and as usual the traditional DAER SUMMER PARTY was staged, a nice moment of serenity for all DAER friends who thus have the opportunity to meet again, before their well-deserved holidays, and above all to enjoy always new experiences related to the world of aerospace.

This year, the party took place in a truly unique location, the Rozzano Civic Astronomical Observatory , which is located in the park of Cascina Grande Cultural Centre, the city's cultural center and home to the Civic Library.

Heat and mosquitoes did not stop the over 200 participants who, in the company of friends and families, gathered to spend carefree hours, enlivened by two unusual and interesting activities.

Thanks to the passionate Amateur Astronomers Group of Rozzano, the doors of the Observatory have opened exclusively for the DAER. The amateur astronomers narrated the birth and activities of the Dome and its spaces and accompanied those present in two magical moments of observation of the Sun and the Moon with the help of their incredible telescopes.

In addition, the Cascina Grande Library staff showed and described with dedication the buildings and history of the Cultural Centre, a nineteenth-century agricultural complex transformed into a modern hub of information, documentation, cultural leisure and training opportunities, available to the citizenship.

Hosts and special guests at the party were the Mayor of Rozzano, Gianni Ferretti, and Deputy Mayor, Maria Laura Guido, who welcomed and greeted the DAER, preceding the Director's unfailing speech.
