EUCASS2025: BEST STUDENT PAPER AWARD FOR YISHI WANG

We are proud to share that at EUCASS2025, Yishi Wang was awarded the Best Student Paper Award for the paper:

“6-DOF Relative Pose Estimation For Non-cooperative Spacecraft Using Event Streams”.

The paper addresses the challenge of accurate relative pose estimation of non-cooperative spacecraft using event cameras, an innovative and promising technology for future space missions.

This achievement stems from the international collaboration developed during Yishi Wang’s research visit from the Harbin Institute of Technology to the Department of Aerospace Science and Technology at Politecnico di Milano, in collaboration with Michele Maestrini, Mauro Massari and Pierluigi Di Lizia.
