Christian Hofmann works on the autonomous guidance of interplanetary CubeSats in the context of the ERC project EXTREMA. He worked at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) before he joined Politecnico di Milano in 2018. His research interests include astrodynamics, nonlinear optimal control, interplanetary CubeSats, space trajectory optimization and computational guidance, navigation, and control.
