Maxim Isachenkov, 3rd year PhD student, working in AMATECH lab with prof. Giuseppe Sala and prof. Antonio Mattia Grande, has won a best oral presentation award at Young Ceramics Additive Manufacturing conference (yCAM-2025), annually organized by European Ceramic Society.

This year conference took place in Touluse, aerospace capital of Europe.

Maxim delivered his talk on magnetic beneficiation of lunar regolith for in-situ ceramics additive manufacturing on the Moon.

He has shown how the technology could be utilized for production of spare parts and instruments for maintatnce of the future lunar outpost.
