Description of the research and its impacts

• Design, implementation, and validation of algorithms within the development of system functionalities for the C2SSA system, under the responsibility and development of Leonardo.
• The project contributes to the creation of the software infrastructure for the management of Space Surveillance and Tracking (SST) and Space Traffic Management (STM) operations of the Italian Air Force.

Main contributions of DAER

• DAER is involved in the development of the following functionalities: Sensor Network Simulator and Operational Sensor Tasking, Threat Assessment and Mitigation, Upgrade of the Catalogue Build-Up and Maintenance process, Launch Monitoring.
