Pietro Ballarin awarded his Master Degree in Aeronautical Engineering in 2019 at Politecnico di Milano. His PhD started in November 2020 and is in cooperation with the Department of Management Engineering of Politecnico di Milano, the program is supported by industrial partners. His main research topic is the impact assessment of the structural health monitoring systems on the lifecycle of aerospace composite structures. Other research fields of Pietro Ballarin are the morphing structures and damage propagation in composite materials.
